If the answer is no
A decline is not a judgement of you.
Most declines come down to arithmetic, not character. These are the usual reasons, so you are not left guessing.
- The instalment does not fit
Our affordability check says the repayment would not leave you enough to live on.
- Income could not be verified
We could not confirm regular income from the documents provided.
- Existing commitments
What you already repay each month leaves no room for another instalment.
- Identity could not be confirmed
Details did not match, which we treat seriously because it is also how fraud looks.
You may apply again. If your circumstances change, nothing stops you coming back.
