How CASH ZA works

Everything happens online, in plain steps. You'll always know what the next step is, what it means, and what it costs — before you commit to anything.

The process

Three steps, no guesswork.

1

Apply securely

Choose an amount and term, then share a few details on an encrypted form. It takes a few minutes on your phone — no branch visit, no paperwork to post.

2

Complete verification

We confirm your identity and run an affordability check. This step protects you from taking on repayments that don't fit your budget.

3

Review your offer

If we can help, you'll see the amount, term and full cost in writing. Nothing is final until you read it and choose to accept.

What to expect

Honest about timing.

The application itself is quick. Verification depends on the checks we need to complete — so instead of promising a payout time we can't guarantee, we keep you updated at each step.

  • You apply

A few minutes to complete the form.

  • We verify

We check your identity and affordability, and may ask for a document.

  • You decide

You review the written offer and accept only if it works for you.

Before you start

The checks

What we check, and why each one matters.

Verification is not paperwork for its own sake. Each check exists to stop a specific thing going wrong — for you as much as for us.

  • Who you are

We confirm your South African ID. This is what stops someone else borrowing in your name.

  • What you earn

Recent proof of income shows what you can realistically repay, so the instalment fits the month you actually have.

  • What you already owe

With your consent we check a registered credit bureau, so a new loan is not added on top of commitments you are already carrying.

  • Where the money goes

The account must be in your name and the one your salary is paid into. Payouts go nowhere else.

After you accept

Nothing happens by surprise.

Once you have accepted your agreement, here is exactly what follows.

  • Your payoutOnce the agreement is signed and your debit order mandate is in place, the money is paid into the account we verified.
  • Your repayment scheduleYou receive the exact dates and amounts in writing before anything is collected.
  • Settling earlyYou may settle at any time and pay interest and fees only up to that date — never the full remaining term.
  • Your statementsEvery payment received and how it was allocated is recorded and available to you.

If things change

Tell us early. There are more options then.

Hours get cut, cars break, people get sick. If a repayment is going to be a problem, the single most useful thing you can do is contact us before the debit order date.

  • Call or email us first

The sooner we know, the more we can look at with you.

  • Understand the consequences

Missed payments may affect your credit record and can be reported to a registered credit bureau.

  • Ask about your options

We would rather find an arrangement that works than watch an account fall into arrears.

No approvals are made on this page. Completing the steps does not guarantee a loan. Any offer depends on affordability, verification and applicable pricing rules, and is always confirmed in writing before you accept.

Ready when you are

Start with an estimate — no pressure.

See what a loan could cost you, then continue only if the numbers work.

Before you commit

Check the numbers against your month.

The instalment has to survive a month where something else also goes wrong. See the full cost first, then decide.
